A live Background Simulation board run by The Exiles, an Elite Dangerous squadron. It is a fan project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Frontier Developments plc. Elite Dangerous and all related names and imagery belong to Frontier.
Galaxy data comes from community feeds such as EDDN and EDSM. It can lag behind the live game or be plain wrong, so treat everything here as unofficial. Squad XP is an internal scoreboard for fun and has no value anywhere else.
The board is public and needs no account. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Your browser keeps a few display preferences in localStorage on your own machine, plus a session token if a squad leader signs in. The password itself is never stored in the browser.
Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from Google when the page opens.
Squad members can link the BGS-Tally plugin to our database using a key minted by a leader. If you link, we store your Discord ID, your commander names, and per-session gameplay tallies: trade, combat, missions, the systems you flew in, and when. Names and XP are visible on this board and in our Discord. Leaders can see the full detail.
Want out? Remove the key from the plugin and ask any leader to delete your rows. Members who never link a key have nothing stored.
Like every website, our rented server keeps standard access logs (IP address plus the request made). We use them for debugging and abuse prevention and they rotate out on a schedule.
